Police need help to find Mamelodi man (33)
After the missing man last informed his cousin that he would be heading to town to hang out with his fellow taxi drivers, none of his friends could say where he was.
A 33-year-old man from Mamelodi East went missing on May 12.
Adam Fanie Msibi was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt, blue jeans, black flip-flops and a grey bucket hat on the day of his disappearance.
Police spokesperson Constable Penelope Khulong said his cousin, Mpho Msibi, reported him missing.
“The man informed his cousin that he would be heading to town to hang out with his fellow taxi drivers,” said Khulong.
She said the following day, his brother called the cousin to inquire into his whereabouts, and indicated that they had last seen each other on Sunday.
Khulong said they further tried to call the victim, but his phone went straight to voicemail.
Contact was also made with the friends he was last reported to have been with, but no one could indicate his whereabouts.
Khulong said there is no waiting period to report a person missing.
Anyone with information regarding Msibi’s whereabouts is requested to call Mamelodi East SAPS on 012 815 7079 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
Alternatively, information can be sent via MYSAPSAPP.
All information will be treated as confidential and callers may opt to remain anonymous.
