Railways Cafe hosted its inaugural vintage market in Centurion on Saturday.
Attendees were transported back in time with its unique setup and eclectic offerings.
According to market organiser Micheal Lazar, the venue’s distinctive atmosphere is what drew him to host the market at Railways Cafe.
“I host the market once every quarter, and I love the unique setup of the railways,” he said.
A self-proclaimed vintage enthusiast, Lazar also owns a classic car and has a passion for all things vintage.
The market featured an array of stalls selling everything from wine to vintage clothing, with attendees treated to a nostalgic soundtrack of old music jams.
One of the attendees Madison Ann Coutries said the market was an absolute blast.
She said the atmosphere was incredible, and “I found some amazing vintage pieces to add to my collection”.
“I am coming back to the next one.”
Lesego Matojane said he loved the laid-back vibe at the market, and the selection of vintage goods was impressive.
“The old music jams really added to the ambience – it was like stepping back in time.”
