A holistic approach to education
Maragon offers a loving and encouraging environment to equip their students to go out and change the world.

Maragon’s Christ-centred educational model focuses on academic excellence in a progressive environment where every student’s potential is recognised holistically.
Teachers follow the CAPS and IEB curricula and enhance it by developing global competency skills to achieve a high academic standard. Our desire for our students is to discover who they are in Christ, in a loving and encouraging environment, and to equip them to go out and change the world
Spiritual life:
Worshipping Jesus Christ is part of our daily lives. We are privileged to have a weekly Praise and Worship session where a message is shared with our students. The heart behind our weekly Praise and Worship is to create a place where the students are able to challenge each other to grow spiritually in their relationship with Jesus. Our desire for our students is to discover God in an encouraging and loving environment, equipping them to be able to change the world around them. We are blessed with a team of Youth Workers from TREE (Transforming Educational Environments) to mentor our students.
Outreach:
Annually we as a school take part in outreach activities. In previous years we reached out to less fortunate schools and hosted a sports day for a school which had no facilities and the students enjoyed it. Some grades helped to start vegetable gardens in areas of need and support those organisations which do upliftment work. In the process our students also learn to be thankful and appreciate whatever they have, while reaching out to others.
Prayer week:
Once a term, the Student Council’s Spiritual Committee creates a platform where students can freely pray and worship God. Opportunities for prayer are created throughout this week.
