Here are some events that could bring cheer to your weekend:

– Head over to Delectus Manor for Stoepstories with Tiaan Ras on Friday, Nov 4 from 18:30 – contact 082 467 7411.

– Do not miss the SAAF Museum Training Day at Zwartkops Air Base on Saturday, Nov 5. All flying enthusiasts should make their way to this special event. Entrance is free.

– If you are in the mood for music, catch Nicole McLeod at Diep in die Berg from 13:00 onwards on Saturday. Sit back and enjoy the afternoon. Contact 012 807 4630 for more information, entrance is free.

– A little culture can be had at the Association of Arts in Muckleneuk’s concert with The Salon Boys ensemble of Pretoria Boys High. This will be on Saturday, Nov 5. Tickets must be reserved at 012 346 3100 / 083 288 5117.

– For those wishing to feast the eyes and feed the soul, Martin Potgieter’s art exhibition will open at 11:00 on Saturday at the Johann van Heerden Art Gallery in Jacqueline Drive, Garsfontein. This solo exhibition is to be seen until Nov 23.

– Older young-at-heart music fans can be entertained by Ballyhoo at the Kleine Skuur Teater in Raslouw on Saturday, Nov 5 from 11:00 onwards. Tickets are R150. Call 065 233 8847 for more information.

– A stressful week calls for some mindful me-time, so why not visit the Pretoria Botanical Gardens from 18:00 (for 19:00) on Friday, Nov 4 for Mindful Sessions – guided meditation and meditational clay moulding facilitated by Greta van Rensburg and with live performances by musician Reets. – Maybe a new hobby is what you need this weekend, or maybe you are just super eco-conscious. If this is you, bring your family and join Bee Save this Saturday, Nov 5, from 10:00 to 11:00 at Ons Plaashuis Teater.
