With the increase in crime in Loate and Rietgat policing precincts, the need to address these challenges has been identified.
This is according to district police spokesperson Warrant Officer Johann van Dyk.
A dedicated team has been assembled to tackle these incidents and apprehend the perpetrators.
“The teams will be under the baton of Major-General Azwinndini Nengovhela,” Van Dyk said.
The operations have been divided into two phases.
