Nellmapius girlfriend, daughter murder accused in court for bail hearing
“We won’t heal as a family because if found guilty, he will be locked for years getting free food and shelter.”
A Nellmapius man accused of murdering his girlfriend and her 11-year-old daughter briefly appeared in the Pretoria magistrate’s court for a bail hearing on Wednesday, November 2.
The case was remanded to November 10 to confirm the address of murder accused Kenneth Debeila Majozi (31).
Majozi is facing two murder charges.

He was allegedly on the run after killing Beverly Makhura (31) and her daughter on March 20 this year before he handed himself over at the Lebowa Kgomo police station on June 13.
Makhura was found dead underneath Majozi ’s bed and the daughter was found dead on top of the same bed.
They were laid to rest in Heatherly cemetery on March 26.

Bonolo Makhura, the victim’s younger sister, said the family was still traumatised by the incident and every time the suspect goes to court, it brings back bad memories.
Bonolo hopes that the trial will start soon.
“We won’t heal as a family because if found guilty, he will be locked for years getting free food and shelter.”
Nellmapius community members and the ANC Women’s League came out in their numbers to support the victims’ family.
Majozi will remain in police custody.
