Kolonnade is ready to fill your Festive Season with Cheer and would like to take this opportunity to thank our community for their ongoing support and wish them a Christmas filled with special moments with their loved ones!
Kolonnade’s real life mascot, Scanman will be putting on a brand-new outfit this Festive Season as he prepares to fill the shoes of Santa and become our very own SCANTA!
Scanta will appear in centre 11am – 2pm daily from 15 – 23 December. Shoppers that spot him can scan his QR code and register their details to see if they win a prize on the spot. There are over 22 prizes daily from as many as 12 different retailers. Every scan over this period will go into the draw to win a share of R20 000 in gift cards! One lucky winner will receive a R10 000 Kolonnade gift card while other customers stand a chance of winning R2000 gift cards from Checkers Hyper, Dis-Chem and NWJ. There is also a R1000 Footgear voucher up for grabs. Main prize winners will be drawn at random and contacted on 11 January 2023.
A very-merry Christmas Market will be taking place at the covered outside seating area opposite Foodchain Restaurant from 9 – 17 December. During this time the market will take place weekdays from 3pm – 7pm and from 9am – 4pm on Saturday and Sunday. The ever-popular songstress Nádine will be making a special appearance at the market area to meet and greet the public on Sunday the 11th .
To allow more time to shop for your loved ones all stores will open one hour earlier from Thursday 15 December, therefore early birds will be able to shop from 8am until the 24th of December.
The trading hours for the Centre will be as follows:
15, 16 and 19 – 23 December 08:00 – 19:00
17 December 08:00 – 18:00
18 December 08:00 – 16:00
24 December 08:00 – 17:00
25 & 26 December as well as 1 January 2023 will be voluntary trade days. Keep an eye out on our Facebook page to see which stores plan to trade on these days.
To make your Christmas shopping even more stress free, we offer four gift wrapping kiosks in centre (apart from the two located conveniently at the entrances of Checkers Hyper and Game) in aid of Gracia Place of Safety, Helpende Hand, Rock of Hope Place of Safety and SPCA.

- Open your device Settings and navigate to Wi-Fi
- Select Smart Mall App Free WiFi to start your connection
- Wait for the screen to finish loading
- Click to REGISTER a free account. If you haven’t registered before, provide the requested info to complete the Sign-Up
- START YOUR SESSION to gain internet connection
The next time you visit the Centre, simply:
- Log into the Smart Mall App using the same login credentials
- Navigate to PROFILE in the Smart Mall App to Unlock Free WiFi
