Search for missing Olievenhoutbosch woman continues 8 months later
Police are urgently looking for Charity, who went missing in August 2022. Her two children, aged 5 and 9, were left at home.
Olievenhoutbosch police are urgently looking for any information about a missing woman known as Charity, who disappeared on August 21, 2022 – almost eight months ago.
Charity rented a room in Olievenhoutbosch with her two young children, aged 5 and 9.
She left her rented room at about 05:00 on the day of her disappearance, leaving her two young children with her landlord to look for work in Johannesburg, according to police spokesperson Sergeant Pretty Mokadi.
Mokadi said that her whereabouts are unknown to date and attempts to reach her cellphone only goes to voicemail.
Charity has no known family members and her two children are currently in a place of safety awaiting their mother’s return.
“Community members are urged to contact SAPS on 08600 10111 or contact the local police if they see her,” said Mokadi.
