Mentally challenged man gone missing in Mamelodi

Isaac was last seen wearing black trousers, a blue and white T-shirt and gold sandals. He has grey hair.

A 54-year-old man from Mamelodi West, believed to be mentally challenged, went missing on April 11.

Tembisa resident Isaac Lesiba Komape went missing while visiting his brother, Nezrien, in Mamelodi, according to police spokesperson Sergeant Daphney Maila.

Isaac speaks Sepedi and is mentally challenged.

Maila said Isaac was reported missing by his brother on April 18.

Isaac was last seen wearing black trousers, a blue and white T-shirt and gold sandals. He has grey hair.

“His brother searched for him everywhere including Sun Valley, where he thought he might have gone to visit his other brother, but could not find him.

Police advised families to often check on each other and always know the whereabouts of their loved ones.

Maila said there is no waiting period to report a missing person.
