Cold and cloudy week ahead for Pretoria, says weather service
May will see the start of cold weather conditions with a huge dip in temperatures.

Monday’s Pretoria weather was forecasted to be partly cloudy with little chance of rain.
This was according to the South African weather service (SAWS).
Monday’s minimum temperature was expected to be at 14°C with a maximum of 26°C with a wind speed of 19km/h to 9 km/h in the evening.
Tuesday morning will be mostly sunny for most of the day. Later in the evening, however, showers and thunderstorms are expected with the minimum temperature of 14°C and a maximum temperature of 28°C.
There will also be a 30% chance of rainfall with an amount of 3mm on the day expected. In addition, the temperature is expected to range from 14°C minimum to a maximum of 28°C.
Early birds can expect Tuesday’s sunrise at 06: 30 while sunset would be around 17:37.
SAWS said this will be the start of a cold new month with a huge dip in temperatures, not just in Pretoria, but throughout the entire country.
Here are some tips on how to keep warm:
– Wear warm clothes, layers are best including a hat
– If outside wear boots or shoes
– Make sure you have enough food and medication
– Check the weather forecast regularly
– Take regular hot drinks and food
