Dear Editor

Artists need to respect that as these political leaders have become icons.

Artists, who paint or draw, use their art to portray a message, which is truthful and cannot be biased in my opinion, but I would like to express a form of sadness and displeasure into the art that has been in rotation on media platforms whereby artists have portrayed political leaders in a distasteful manner.

Do not get me wrong, some of the art I have seen is painted in a truthful manner and I can agree that the same way these artist express their views is similar to how I see them, but I feel it is not right to portray art without dignity and respect.

These leaders have children and their children have children.

Artists need to respect that as these political leaders have become icons.
