I was shocked at the above mentioned article. Not many people realise the magnitude of what could have happened if the tanker was set alight including the number of deaths, damage and chaos that would have occurred if it was not for Constables Tladi & Mabuso’s. They deserve a medals.
As a former reservist I know about the dangers our police officials face every day. You are never totally safe because as a police official you are seen as a target by criminals on or off duty.
Every police official should be honoured with a special public holiday dedicated to them.
How many of our police officials have paid the ultimate price for looking after us ?
Take a moment to appreciate what they do and what price they are prepared to pay to protect us every day of our lives.
