Race for friendship held in Hatfield

Hundreds of runners converged on Hatfield Square and enjoyed the race for friendship on Saturday morning.

A race, raising money for charity, attracted a colourful crowd in Hatfield on Saturday.

Hundreds of runners from across Pretoria joined the Race for Friendship for a good cause. The race was also supported by Tshwane metro, City Property and other sponsors.

Proceeds of the race will go towards charities such as: Jacaranda Children’s home, Sungardens hospice, Tshwane SPCA and WetNose.

Runners entered various races such as a 5km Run/Walk/Dog walk, a 10 km run and a 21.1 km race.

Registration fees for runners ranged between R30 and R60. Sponsors used the opportunity to network and promote their companies.
