Following the conclusion of the match, Downs coach Pitso Mosimane praised Kekana.
“Kekana found the ball that he wants and he hasn’t scored it like that in a while, to be honest,” Mosimane said.
“I think that he is getting better and better with time. I don’t know where he gets all of this energy levels. Normally he should be clever, tactically, because of experience and wisdom. But he also has the legs. He played a big game and he helped us. Experience helped us to win this game.”

Sundowns will now focus on the CAF Champions League where they host their hoodoo team Wydad Casablanca on Saturday.
