Bonitas presents seminar to empower female Comrades runners
Female Comrades marathon athletes who want to attend this Saturday's special Comrades seminar for women athletes in Pretoria will have to register urgently as seats at the event is limited.
This coming Saturday’s special Comrades seminar for women athletes is a fun, interactive and motivational session, implemented specifically for the female athlete.
As the excitement builds up to the 94th edition of the world-famous Comrades Marathon, the organising body has teamed up with Bonitas Medical Fund to get runners ready for the long run.
The upcoming Bonitas Comrades Women’s Seminars scheduled for the month of March kicks off in Pretoria this Saturday (2 March) at 08:00.
The three women-specific sessions have been specially devised to get Comrades Marathon women physically and mentally prepared for The Ultimate Human Race. Seminars will also be held later in March in Johannesburg (23 March) and Durban (30 March).
A panel of experts are on hand with tailor-made advice, information and motivation for our female Comrades runners. All attendants will have a unique opportunity to breakfast in style at any one of the respective Tsogo Sun venues in Pretoria, Johannesburg and Durban.
Saturday’s seminar in Pretoria will be held at the Southern Sun Pretoria Hotel (Cullinan A), Corner of Pretorius & Steve Biko Street, Arcadia.
These sessions have been skilfully put together to ensure that female athletes obtain the correct training information and nutritionally sound advice to get themselves race-ready for Sunday, 9 June 2019.
The official Comrades Coach, Lindsey Parry, and a host of other experts will be on hand to motivate and inspire a limited number of female runners to prepare for their best race and achieve their Comrades Marathon finisher’s medal.
Seats are limited at R150 per person on a first come, first serve basis. Bookings are necessary. To book, visit: https://comrades.com/events/seminars
