Titans secure home semi-finals in Momentum one-day series
The Titans are currently playing brilliant cricket and they have already qualified for a home semi-final in the Momentum One Day series.
After a couple of great victories in the Momentum One Day tournament, the Titans have managed to qualify at least for a home semi-final this weekend.
On Wednesday last week Heinrich Klaasen and his men consolidated their position at the top of the log by demolishing the Cape Cobras by 10 wickets in Centurion.
They followed this up on Friday with a convincing 70-run bonus-point win over the Dolphins in Durban.
Two old stalwarts, Heino Kuhn with the bat and Junior Dala with the ball, were the two great performers in Durban against the Dolphins.
Kuhn smashed 107 off 98 balls and was given good support by his captain, Heinrich Klaasen (51 off 54 balls).
Dala then claimed five for 32 in 10 overs, while Dean Elgar grabbed four for 37 in 8.1 overs as the home side were bowled out for 230 with 11 balls remaining.
The result in Durban extended the Titans’ advantage at the summit to 10 points over the Warriors, while the Dolphins stayed in third spot.
