North of Pretoria gets fancy new indoor sports centre
A well-known Afrikaans singer and a former South African cricket star have teamed up to build a very unique indoor sports and entertainment centre in the north of Pretoria.
After it has recently been introduced to the media, the new Ultimate Aim Sports Pavilion in Montana was officially opened this past weekend.
The Ultimate Aim Sports Pavilion is a brand-new sport and entertainment centre, based on a unique new concept, giving visitors the opportunity to practice a variety of sports in an indoor centre with world-class modern facilities, while combining this experience with the availability of excellent local entertainment and a first-class restaurant.
Located in Montana, Pretoria, the Ultimate Aim Sports Pavilion offers an exclusive sport and entertainment experience for everyone in the family.
Several entrepreneurs have joined hands with well-known sports and entertainment personalities to make this new centre a reality.
Afrikaans singer and musician Jo Black and former Proteas and Titans cricket star, Albie Morkel worked with their partners, Michael de Jongh, Wynand van Zyl and Bierman Smit to make each one realizes part of your own dreams by setting up the centre.
The Sports Pavilion hosts a golf shop, an archery shop, a fishing shop, indoor golf, indoor archery, the Bearded Butcher restaurant with its live stage, a tapas bar, office space, a boardroom and a kiddies play area.
Visitors can relax, have a beer, drink a coffee, meet clients, have board meetings, do training- & team buildings, play golf, get golf clubs fixed, shooting with a crossbow on the indoor track or get their your bow strung, buy fishing gear, enjoy five star food and listen to gifted artists perform live on stage.
One can even play a very realistic game of golf at one of the golf simulation units, which offers a wide selection of well-known golf courses around the world to test the player’s skills.
Jo Black will be in charge of the theatre restaurant, The Bearded Butcher, which will serve as the live entertainment hot spot of the new venue.
Morkel said he had long dreamed of a centre where visitors would have the opportunity to participate indoors in sports that he also loves very much, such as fishing and archery.
They also plan to later install cricket nets for a cricket coaching unit as part of the centre’s services.
