The annual SPAR Women’s Challenge Tshwane, which takes place on 3 August, is not just a race. It is a festival of fun complete with live entertainment and celebrities, with some running and walking thrown into the mix.

Considered a running carnival, the famous race attracts more than 25 000 participants each year with festivities taking place on the roads around SuperSportPark on the 5km and 10km routes.

This year’s race theme “Yes I Am…” encourages the women of Tshwane to embrace who they are as individuals and in the many roles they play.

The SPAR Women’s Challenge Tshwane is famous for putting on a show ensuring the fun does not stop once participants have crossed the finish line.

The artists that will be entertaining the wary legs and their supporters will make their return to the Women’s Challenge Tshwane after highlighting how much they love performing at the race. The line-up is made up of some of the country’s top perfumers including DJ Jazzy D, Jay, Willem Botha, and Denim.
