Trinityhouse Palm Lakes an Education Beyond Expectation
Trinityhouse Palm Lakes, nestled in the rolling cane fields of the quiet area of Tinley Manor, is part of the Palm Lakes Family Estate, which is not far from the towns of Umhlali, Salt Rock, as well as the rapidly expanding town of Ballito.
They seek to retain traditional values while preparing its pupils for an ever-changing world. They provide a holistic education which ensures excellence in all areas of education. Pupils are offered a healthy balance between academic, sports and cultural activities within a structured and secure environment that is shaped by a strong Christian ethos. Central to the successes of pupils is hands-on involvement by the management team as well as dedicated, hand-picked teaching staff.
The school is founded on time honoured traditional values and is currently providing an education from Grade 000 to Grade 11. In 2018, the school will celebrate their first matric results.
The curriculum provide opportunities and resources that encourage students to become lifelong learners. Building on the foundations which have been laid through the excellence of the Pre-Primary and the Preparatory schools, while fostering the skills in the High School. It focuses on making sure that learners master CAPS subjects, and the implementation of core skills that fall in five distinct categories, namely social; communication; thinking; research and self-management. From pre-primary to matric, teachers incorporate core skills development in each subject.
Boarding facilities is on offer for Grade 8 to 12 pupils, in the modern houses, in the secured gated environment of the estate. They provide a safe and comfortable living setting that has a supportive extended family feel with a ‘home from home’ atmosphere. The students enjoy a supported and guided extended family system in which they can take advantage of the abundance of opportunities available within their environment.
