How to shape your eyebrows
Consider these tips on how to shape your eyebrows.
1. Visualise your eyebrows
Visualize your brow shape before you start. It will be much easier if you can get a clear idea of what you want it to look like. The front of the brow should align with the upper bridge of your nose.
2. Give yourself a good guideline
Fill in you eyebrows with an eyebrow pencil that matches your color. This way you won’t overdo it.
3. Use an eyebrow brush
After drawing your desired eyebrow shape, use an eyebrow brush to coax hairs up for lift and volume.
4. Pluck the stray hairs
Once you’ve filled in you brows and brushed it in an upward direction, remove unwanted hairs with slant-tipped tweezers.
If you’re new at this, try to stay away from plucking the fine hairs above your brow. If you concentrate on removing too much of the hairs, you’ll lose perspective of what it is supposed to look like.
When you are done, take a step back from the mirror to see what it looks like.
5. Identifying any open spaces
If you see any open spaces, just use your eye brow pencil to fill them again. Be careful not go too dark, it will look unnatural.
6. Trim excess hairs
This should only be done when you do have excess and long hairs sticking out at the top. Remember, the more you trim, the harsher the hairs will grow back.
Only trim your brows if you absolutely have to.
Enjoy your new look with younger-looking brows to match.
