Look what is happening this Easter weekend.
1. Easter arts, crafts and fun
Story time, puzzle building, arts and crafts, Easter egg wall decorations, musical chairs, Easter egg colouring competition and more can be expected at this event, suitable for children and adults alike.
The fun will start at around 10:00 at the Irene Vilage Mall.

2. Easter egg hunt and picnic at Ludwig’s Roses
Spend a relaxed Easter with your family between a myriad of Ludwig’s Roses. Take a stroll between the show gardens and watch the kids look for the Easter goodies.
The Easter bunny has hidden sweets and colourful items for the kids to find and they can also meet the Easter bunny. A host of fun activities like a jumping castle, a kids painting or colouring station or a hop on the free tractor trailer ride will be available.
The registration and hunt starts from 09:00 until 12:00 on 25 March until 28 March 2016 and will cost R150 per child.
The golden egg
A golden egg has been hidden and the child who finds it, will receive a rose plant voucher worth R150.

3. Easter egg hunt at Purple Cow Midstream
Join the Purple Cow restaurant in Midstream for a host of unique and fun-filled Easter activities, suitable for the whole family.
Friday, 25 March: Special Easter buffet breakfast from 08:30 – 11:30
Saturday, 26 March: Easter egg hunt for the children at 09:00
Sunday, 27 March: Enjoy their famous farm breakfast buffet and lunch buffet. Bookings are essential.
Monday, 28 March: Children will be able to paint Easter eggs with the Purple Cow mascot and the Easter bunny at 10:00.

4. Easter German beer festival
Would you like to do something different for a change? The purpose of this event is to raise funds for the 2016 Municipal Elections for the Gauteng North region and Pretoria Moot constituencies.
Helen Zille and Solly Msimanga the Tshwane Mayoral Candidate are invited as guests of honour. A lot of fun activities including the launch of two brand new craft beers will be available. A special German Oempa Band will be playing.
Prizes for the best German outfit and other beer drinking competitions in true German style will be up for grabs while people across Gauteng will be having a good time.

5. Easter egg hunt at Blos Café
Join Blos Café for their Easter egg hunt on Sunday 28 March at 09:00 for some fun in the sun.
Tokens will be hidden inside each egg that will indicate what the finder had won.

6. Woodrock Easter market and fun day
The exciting Woodrock Easter market will take place on Sunday 27 March 2016 at the Smuts House in Irene.
The fun-filled day will be jam-packed with an Easter egg hunt, delicious food stalls, a disabled and senior dog walk, all sorts of kid’s activities, stalls for dogs and a dog-micro chipping stall.
Kick off this wonderful day at 06:00 until 14:00, with the market starting at 08:00.
