Two audience members will be in charge of a team of 12 poets who will go through five stages to win a slam.
Each stage will have its own rules (obstacles), ranging from impromptu poems, to no-holds-barred performances.
The obstacles are determined by the stage masters.

He describes his style as diverse and fascinated with South African landscapes.
Specific reference to man-made marks on the landscape, forms the main theme throughout his work.
Physical boundaries (such as rusted barbed wire fences) occur regularly in his paintings.
