LIFE OF THE PARTY (13 DLSV)

Showing in VIP luxury at Nu Metro Woodlands and Menlyn Park

When her husband suddenly dumps her, longtime dedicated housewife Deanna turns regret into re-set by going back to college, landing in the same class and school as her daughter, who’s not entirely sold on the idea. Plunging headlong into the campus experience, the increasingly outspoken Deanna (now “Dee Rock”) embraces freedom, fun, and frat boys on her own terms, finding her true self in a senior year no one ever expected. Melissa McCarthy has become popular for her hilarious take on character comedy. She is the star of the film and co-wrote the story, her third collaboration with director Ben Falcone, after they also worked together on The Boss last year. Life of the Party is all about “old school meets new life” and is just the kind of laugh-out-loud movie-outing to mute all forms of winter blues.
