Four men arrested for theft in Centurion

Four men have appeared in the Atteridgeville Magistrate’s Court on Friday on theft charges.
The police said the four, aged between 36 and 41, were arrested on Wednesday on suspicion that they stole from PG Glass in Centurion.

Two employees from PG Glass allegedly failed to deliver 76 window panes to a firm in Sunderland ridge, and allegedly colluded with another man who was supposed to receive the full delivery on behalf of the business, said police.
Police said the suspects kept 10 windowpanes for themselves and only delivered 66.
They said a complaint was lodged at the local police station for further investigation.

“It was then established that the outstanding window panes were sold to a company in Raslow.”
Police said the fourth men was arrested when the stolen property was found at his business.
It was still unclear what happened during the court proceedings at the time of going to press.
