COMPETITION: Win tickets to Carnival City’s circus-musical extravaganza

Carnival City is celebrating its 20th birthday in a big way.

Carnival City’s Big Top Arena is set to erupt with what promises to be the most outrageous and flamboyant party of the season. For the first time ever, some of South Africa’s best-loved artists will collaborate with death-defying stuntmen and speciality circus acts from around the world to present, Dis ‘n Sirkus – a show created especially for Carnival City in celebration of its 20th birthday. The action unravels in spectacular fashion from 6 to 8 September 2019.

Taking to the stage for Dis ‘n Sirkus are Willem Botha, Kurt Darren, Leah, Adam Tas, Lianie May, Lloyd Cele, Nadine, Die Campbells, Jay, Gerhard Steyn Refentse and Demi Lee Moore. Each artist’s performance will be combined with a spectacular circus act or awe-inspiring stunts. In true carnival style, there will be aerial stunts, fire acts, roaming clowns and stilt walkers, a carousel, face painters, candy floss and more.

“Imagine dancing to Kurt Darren’s ‘Kaptein’ while trapeze artists fly at heart stopping heights above your head or tapping your feet to Jay, Gerhard Steyn and Adam Tas while the death defying motorcyclists risk life and limb to entertain you in the Globe of Death.

“Watch as some of South Africa’s best love artists and your ringmaster Willem Botha team up with the most amazing circus acts and performers to bring you a one of a kind experience to mark Carnival City’s big 20th birthday,” says Michelle Smith, Marketing Manager at Carnival City.

Celebrate Carnival City’s 20th birthday with a one-of-a-kind circus-musical spectacular on 6,7 and 8 September 2019. The Friday and Saturday shows are at 20h00 and Sunday’s show is at 15h00. Bring the family. Tickets are priced from R160 per person at Computicket.
