COMPETITION: Win VIP tickets to see and Dance Gavin Dance in 2020

Sacramento-based post-hardcore protagonists Dance Gavin Dance have revealed dates for their first South Africa tour early next year.

Brought to you by JamPacked Productions, this is the fifth and final tour they promised last year, to help raise R1m for wildlife conservation and anti-poaching efforts in South Africa.

“We are extremely excited about coming to beautiful South Africa to play some amazing shows. Looking forward to meeting all the fans and touring in a place that we have never visited before,” the band says.

Jampacked Productions got a little cheeky with their announcement video as saying: “The team wanted to try something new and the shock factor approach is something we hadn’t tried yet. We take our marketing super seriously – as you can see (LOL) – and love trying new things to bring more ‘gees’ to our audiences. Craig wanted a new tattoo. We wanted a strong marketing campaign. Our fans wanted Dance Gavin Dance. Voila! (And besides, we thought it would be hilarious).”
