Montana house damaged by fire
“ Upon our arrival on the scene, the garage roof was on fire. It was contained there, limiting damage to the garage only.“
A woman was transported to hospital and two men were treated on scene for smoke inhalation after a house fire in Montana Park on Friday evening.
According to Medi-Edge, the fire happened at about 20:00 in Sagopalm Street.
“Three patients were treated on the scene for smoke inhalation. One of the patients was transported to a nearby hospital for further care.”
Medi-Edge said reports from the scene indicated that the fire started in the roof of the garage.
“Upon our arrival on the scene, the garage roof was on fire. It was contained there, limiting damage to the garage only.”
“The exact cause of the fire has yet to be determined.”
The City of Tshwane Fire Department quickly extinguished the fire.
