Man shot in Olievenhoutbosch alleged hijacking
Man sustains moderate injuries after he was shot in the pelvis.

A man was shot and wounded in an alleged hijacking on the R55, Olievenhoutbosch on Friday.
Cert-SA spokesperson Ruan Heyns said the shooting happened at around 19:40.
Heyns said the man sustained moderate injuries after being shot in the pelvis.
“The man was stabilised on the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital by Gauteng emergency medical services and Netcare911 advanced life support paramedics.”
“A case of attempted murder was opened by police and they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident,” Heyns said.
He further thanked Netcare911, Gauteng emergency medical services, Tracker South Africa and Olievenhoutbosh SAPS for assistance on the scene.
