Tik Tok star reaches out to the community
Local TikTok star opens her heart and pockets to give back to the community.

Local Pretoria TikTok star and social media influencer said the smile on the faces of the community when handing out food to the less-fortunate humbles her.
“It feeds my soul to see other people happy,” Chané Grobler said in an interview with Rekord.
The social media personality with 2.1-million followers on the social media platform TikTok and more than 70 000 followers on Instagram, told Rekord she is now busier than ever!
In addition to working on various projects for her social media platforms, she also takes some time off to give back to the community.
Last month, as part of her food projects, Grobler handed out home-cooked meals, soup, bread and treats to the underprivileged people in Moot and Pretoria West.

Grobler said she is passionate about charity and she loves giving back to the community.
“We distributed 30 mince and rice food bowls with bread and soup in Pretoria West.
“Seeing the precious look on a child’s face when we give them sweets gives me hope.”
Grobler said she decided to reach out to the people in the Moot and in Pretoria West because it is her immediate community and the need on the streets breaks her heart.
She tries to do an outreach every month, depending on the donations she receives and the contribution she can mak out of her own pocket.
“I don’t do it alone either. I wouldn’t be able to do it without the support of my family, relatives, community and Kilnerpark Security. I’m blessed with a good support system,” Grobler said.
Kilnerpark Security wrote the following on their Facebook page: “What an incredible privilege and opportunity for Kilnerpark Security to be part this beautiful young lady’s food projects. Chané Grobler opened her heart and gave her time to the community. She prepared meals by herself (for two days) cooking soup, buttering sandwiches and distributed it with lots of love. Thank you Chané for your selfless love for the community. Thank you also Johan Cloete and team for your help and contributions.”
Grobler further said just because it is lockdown, there is no reason just to sit around and do nothing.
“I challenge the community to make a difference in other people’s lives. Even if I just plant a seed of caring, I’m satisfied. ”
