The men gang raped a 19 year old girl in 2015.

LIMPOPO – Eric Lebogo (21), David Mashishi (20), Tshepho Lentswane (29) and Thabo Hlongwane (22) were sentenced to life in prison for rape and 15 years imprisonment for robbery.

Police spokesperson Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe says the four men attacked and gang raped a 19-year-old girl in Ga-Magongoa village outside Mahwelereng on 29 November 2011.

Furthermore, in Giyani, Tshedza Tshikovi (33) was sentenced to life in prison for murder as well as:

  • 10 years for attempted murder
  • 10 years for burglary
  • 15 years for robbery

Ngoepe says the sentencing of Tshedza emanates from an incident which took place on 25 November 2016 when he broke into and entered the first victim’s house.

He stabbed her several times with a knife, raped her and proceeded to the second house where he broke into the second victim’s house, stabbed 17-year-old Kulani Nkuna to death, took her cell phone and fled the scene.
