POLOKWANE – Lepelle Northern Water (LNW) has just notified the Polokwane Municpality that the planned water shutdown at the Olifantspoort Scheme has been postponed.

A new date, according to Lepelle Northern Water, will be communicated soon.

Polokwane residents urged to prepare for 2-day water shutdown
POLOKWANE – On top of water-shedding, residents can now expect a two day water shutdown later this week.
According to statement issued by the Polokwane Municipality this is to allow Lepelle Northern Water (LNW) technicians time to repair valves and pipelines as well as connect the bypass at the Olifantspoort Scheme.

The planned shutdown is to take place from Thursday, 27 February to Friday, 28 February.
The municipality further urges residents to use water sparingly during this period and to report water related challenges to the water call centre at 015 290 2376 / 2629.
