Jim van Tonderskool will be having its annual golf day
BETHAL – Jim van Tonderskool will be having its annual golf day at the Bethal Golf Club on Saturday, 15 October.
Jim van Tonder School is an LSEN School (Learners with Special Educational Needs).
Funds generated on the day, will be used to enable the school to provide the means and facilities for pupils to become self supportive and make a positive contribution to the community and society as a whole.
The focus this year is on improving the school’s sports facilities.
People can sponsor a hole or participating in the event itself.
It costs R185 (IPS) per player and includes breakfast, a halfway house and refreshments during the prizegiving.

The pupils at this school are not always able to cope with the demands of mainstream schools and are equipped more adequately for their future at this school in a variety of ways.
Apart from the normal academic curriculum, they are trained in a variety of skills.
The boys are instructed in welding, woodwork, panel beating, mechanical work, plumbing and general maintenance.
The girls receive training in hairdressing, hospitality and shop and office.
Many of the pupils are accommodated in the hostel, whereas others travel daily from Secunda, Evander and Kriel.
