In the wake of Groupon South Africa closing their operations today, November 4, meaning that it will stop offering deals on its website, South Africans may be wondering where they can access similar deals.

According to Fin24, Groupon is reducing its footprint from 27 countries to 15 and a source reportedly told MyBroadband that Groupon South Africa would likely be exited. It was further reported that Groupon’s financial results for the quarter which ended September 30 showed a net loss of $35.8-million as the business model took strain.
