eMzinoni community will benefit
Mr Henry Masango, head of Communication and Marketing of the Govan Mbeki Municipality, said there are currently no challenges reported regarding implementation of these projects.
eMZINONI – The Govan Mbeki Municipality have been doing several development projects such as the construction of a new clinic, community service centre as well as a regional park.
Mr Henry Masango, head of Communication and Marketing of the Govan Mbeki Municipality, said: “The development of these public facilities by the municipality emanates from the community’s needs as captured in the Integrated Development Plan.
“The Community Service Centre will be used for community meetings, funeral services, weddings and any other activity that promotes social cohesion.
“The community centre is being built in eMzinoni as a social and labour plan initiated project and is being funded by a mining house to the amount of R3-million.”
The estimated completion date for the centre is end October and for the clinic in November.
The projected completion date for the regional park is end January.
According to Mr Masango, there are currently no challenges reported regarding implementation of these projects.
