LEBOHANG – Group of young people recently formed the Fundanathi Foundation foundation.

The aim of this foundation is to inspire young people wherever they are to acquire education and enhance their skills.

“Our specialities and focus are based and grounded on literacy and numeracy.

“We want to improve the grammar and thinking capacity of pupils at an early stage”, said Mr Vusi Mahlangu, excutive member of Fundanathi Foundation.

Through a programme called Learning Through Playing pupils will be exposed to a unique way of learning such as reading and playing board games.

Pupils will be empowered and evaluated through reading, creative writing, spelling bees, debating and chess competitions.

Mr Mahlangu said: “We just want to provide academical assistance to these pupils and we want to prove that there is a safe, fun and child-friendly learning environment.

“We are promoting the culture of learning through playing.”
