New eMzinoni Gospel band sparkles
Lion of The Tribe of Judah’s CD tells the story of praise and worship.
eMZINONI – The band Lion of the Tribe of Judah has created a new sound for a new generation of Gospel lovers.
Its influence in Gospel music circles is fast being felt beyond local churches with their debut CD, Wildness Prayer.
The 17-track songs tell the story of praise and worship.
The band consists of Oncemore Mokwena, singer, team leader and minister, Musawenkosi Nkosi, producer and sound engineer, Tebogo Mogola, singer and producer, Sfiso (Philo) Mdaka, rapper, poet and beat maker, and Zakhele (Ziggy) Mashinini, poet, rapper and member of the ushering board.
The band members said they want to impart the Word of God to the hearts of young people through various genres of music, such as Kwaito, rap, poetry and contemporary Gospel.
