Driving in town is a nightmare for motorists.
With the recent rain, small potholes have turned into big holes.
HF Verwoerd Boulevard that goes through Azalea is one of the problem areas.
“This street is full of potholes and after the rain they are not visible because they fill up with water,” a motorist said.
For someone who has never driven in the area, it is a disaster.
Motorists have created their own way on the side of the road to avoid the holes.
“This is going to cause accidents because motorists are driving where we walk,” a pedestrian said.
The community needs the Lekwa Municipality to do something about the road. Mr Sipho Mkwanazi, spokesman of the municipality, could not comment at the time of going to press.
