Toddlers learn about fire safety

She also said it was important to teach them about what was happening in the community and where they could get help, if needed.

A group of 65 toddlers from Thandanani Pre-School, between the ages of two and six years, visited the fire brigade on 15 May to learn more about fire safety.

“We were teaching our pupils about community helpers this month and the theme this week was fire fighters, so we decided to take them to the fire brigade to learn more about fire fighters and safety,” Ms Thandi Dhlamini, principal, said.

She also said it was important to teach them about what was happening in the community and where they could get help, if needed.

According to her they stil need videos or DVDs to teach their pupils about community helpers or civil servants.
