HIGHVELD – Roepersfontein Churh in Kriel wants to give young people who might still be unsure as to which direction they want to take their future or as preparation for the Ministry, the chance to do something in their bridging year.
Reclaimers of Christ’s Kingdom.(R.O.C.K) service year for Christ is a fresh, relevant, in service training year when members from Roepersfontein Church not only equip the young through Bible school, but also practical focus on adulthood waiting on them.
Young people get training on how to begin and maintain a successful youth group, as well as handling financial issues such as buying property, the physical and spiritual needs of the congregation, the global drug crisis, household skills and how to be a soul winner for God’s Kingdom.
The grading ceremony takes place in November next year and after that, they send the young people back to their congregation to get involved and to work with their leadership with the experience that they have gained.
The group is actively involved at local schools and in the community as a visible sign of their testimony.
The church invites all unsure young people to be part of the experience.
