Pupils enjoy career day

Tholukwazi Primary School held a career dress up day on Friday, 17 October.

eMBALENHLE – Pupils from Tholukwazi Primary School were wearing clothes that depicted career choicez at the Career Dress Up Day on Friday, 17 October.

The day was aimed at helping pupils choose a career path at an early age and it was part of the Life Orientation curriculum.

Stakeholder professionals such as the police, nurses, teachers, social workers, engineers and others took part in this event.

They addressed pupils about various issues, such as tertiary institutions, duration of study, employment opportunities, subjects to choose and work environment.

Mr Wiseman Nikani, teacher, said the event was a success and benefited the pupils.

“Our speaker helped a lot in trying to make pupils understand various career choices and gave them all the information they needed.”

“Thanks to our head of department, Ms Ntombizodwa Masombuka, and all the Grade 7 teachers for their contribution and efforts.”
