Scouts begin in Secunda

Send your child to learn about the outdoors.

SECUNDA – Ms Marisa Smith began a Scouts Group in town in November last year.

She caters for Scouts cubs between the ages of seven and 10 years old at the moment and they meet every Monday at 2pm at the Lewende Woord Church in Clare Street.

These meetings do not take place during school holidays.

Ms Smith is currently looking for volunteers with or whithout a scouting background to help her with the group and who are willing to give three hours of their time weekly.

Costs are R150 per month and R120 once for registration.

These costs include a cap and a T-Shirt.

Ms Smith’s aim is to teach the children about the outdoors, to be a good team player and to improve their life skills.

For more information, contact her at 073 305 0874.
