SECUNDA – The Ridge Times has just now heard that one of the men who was attacked with the hammer, is dead.

He died in the Evander Hospital.

He was still alive after the attack and was taken to the Evander Hospital.

The other seriously hurt man was admitted to the Mediclinic Highveld and was later tranferred to a Johannesburg hospital.

A third man is still in a serious condition in the Evander Hospital.

This came after a young man attacked five people with a hammer in the CBD this morning.

It is suspected that he was involved with drugs.

He was arrested after he had attacked a fifth person before a traffic officer stopped him.

He is in custody while police are investigating the case.
