Fire rips through double storey house
A forensics team from the police was sent to investigate after the fire.
A house recently went up in flames in Sakhile during the early hours.
According to Mr John Kok, chief fire and disaster management officer, most
of the house was destroyed in the fire.
He said the family told him an electrical fault apparently caused the fire.
No-one was injured, but two family members were admitted to hospital for smoke inhalation.

“Both were discharged from the hospital the same day,” Mr Kok concluded.
According to a police officer no case was opened.
