Find various heritage sites in Standerton

Prizes will be awarded on a lucky draw basis and the day will not be complete without a “bring en braai”.

The Standerton Lions Club will celebrate Heritage Day on 24 September by making residents aware of the town’s rich culture.

People interested in history can join others at the Lions Clubhouse at 9am to find various heritage sites in Standerton.

Not only central town is included, but Meyerville, Kosmospark and Florapark might fit the bill as well.

A fee of R50 is payable for each car driving towards a site and residents acquainting themselves with Standerton and its history.

Prizes will be awarded on a lucky draw basis and the day will not be complete without a “bring en braai”.

Pack in your own meat and salads and the club will provide plates and cutlery.
