Man embarks on shooting spree
He fired four shots with the firearm he took from the safe
A suspect was arrested for shooting a man in the leg on Friday 25 September.
The suspect used the firearm of his girlfriend, a police officer, to commit the crime.
He fired four shots with the weapon that he took from the safe.
According to the Sakhile Police, his girlfriend was in the Free State when the incident occurred.
They claimed that the woman forgot the keys to the safe in her other handbag.
The suspect appeared in the Standerton Magistrate’s Court on 28 September.
He faces three charges; attempted murder, possession of an unlicensed firearm and discharging a firearm in a public place.
