eMzinoni Gogo might get a house
The Govan Mbeki Municipality has vowed to build Gogo a house in Extension 7.
eMZINONI – Ms Emmelina Nkosi (67) might soon have water and electricity.
She has been staying in Extension 11 for a very long time and is the only one in the neighbourhood who does not have basic necessities such as a flushing toilet and water.
Ms Nkosi denied Govan Mbeki Municipality’s claims that she illegally invaded land.
Council said Ms Nkosi invaded land outside the boundaries of Extension 7 that was not demarcated for residential purposes.
“However, Ms Nkosi will be accommodated in the development project in Extension 7 though it is in the initial stage,” said Mr Bheki Kubheka, acting head of communication and marketing.
