eMba man shot during robbery
eMbalenhle Police are concerned about the violent crimes in the area.
eMBALENHLE – A 44-year-old man sustained injuries after he was shot during an armed robbery in his shop recently.
He was parking his car when three men confronted him at gun point and demanded his car keys.
They then fired three shots at him and fled the scene.
The police were summoned and the man was taken to the Evander Hospital where he is still fighting for his life.
No one has been arrested yet.
Capt Mangonseni Nkosi, police spokesman, said the police are concerned about the violent crimes in the area and are working around the clock to ensure that crime is reduced.
