Lekwa mayor tied up and robbed
Thieves stole the mayor's newly bought BMW X5 at a guesthouse where he was sleeping.
Mr Linda Dhlamini, Lekwa Municipality mayor, was robbed in Midrand on Friday 9 October.
Thieves stole the mayor’s newly bought BMW X5 at a guesthouse where he was sleeping.
Mr Dhlamini was not the only victim of this robbery, other guests who booked into the guesthouse were also robbed.
The thieves tied them up and stole their belongings as well.
Mr Dhlamini was apparently attending the ANC’s fourth National General Council (NGC) when the incident occurred.
