SPCA offers reward for info regarding dog cruelty

EVANDER – The Highveld Ridge SPCA is offering a reward to anyone with information about the person who had tied a Jack Russel cross’s testicles with a cable.
The dog was roaming the streets of Extension 22 in Secunda recently and was picked up by a resident.
It was showing signs of being ill and was taken to a veterinary who discovered the testicles were swollen from being tied with a cable.
The veterinary sterilised the dog that was then taken to SPCA to recover.
He has now fully recovered and is looking for a new owner who can give him lots of love and attention.
Ms Candice Visser from SPCA Highveld Ridge said people should stop animal cruelty and if they experience any problems with their pets, they should contact the SPCA for help.
