The Standerton Police held a Sports Against Crime Day at the Standerton Show Grounds on 21 October.
Lt Fanie Nhlabathi, spokesman, said they held this day in honour of the police officers who were killed and also to make people aware of police killings.
Teams from Standerton played soccer and netball against one another.
A snack to eat was on offer for all the people attending the event.
